Two bumbling but determined three-day film school graduates enter the Montreal World Film Festival with a feature film that does not exist.
This is a movie that, I found by accident and I am glad that I found it. It might be a tall order to find this one at your local video store, you may have to look to Ebay or even Amazon to actually get a hold of a copy of it (Though to be honest I have not checked so don’t really know).
There is an interesting concept behind this film the whole idea of bullshitting your way into a film festival with a movie that does not exist and making your movie while you are actually at the festival. It reminded me of school, homework and that moment everybody has been in at least once in their life where you have realised that have less time then you actually need to complete your project or essay.
You cannot help but admire the boldness that Jake and Larry (portrayed by Seth Meyers and John Cho) had about completing their movie. But what this really shows is that sometimes that the end result is not the most important thing, what is really important is that you act.
