While wrestling with the pressures of life, love, and work in Manhattan, Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte join Samantha for a trip to Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), where Samantha’s ex is filming a new movie.
Ladies it should be duly noted that no man should be forced to watching sex and the city 2 on DVD without an adequate supply of beer, at least one six pack per time he was forced to watch it in the cinema is more than fair. If he has been forced to watch both sex and the city movies at the cinema he should be given a case of beer, and there should be a public holiday to honor these brave men. As I have voluntarily watched both of the movies on DVD, I cannot lay claim to any of that beer. Though in retrospect a good beer buzz might have made it easier for me to watch this one. As far as I could tell there really was not anything special to set the sequel apart from the first movie. Kim Catrall really did give an excellent performance throughout the movie. However, I really did find the final third of the movie which had one or two sequences that looked as if they would be more at home in Gerald Thomas’ Carry on series
