Marmaduke is a giant Great Dane who is always causing a ruckus. The family pet of the Winslows, Marmaduke has outgrown his cute puppy stage and become an accident-prone gentle giant. When the Winslows decide to move to California, Marmaduke sees an opportunity to reinvent himself as the coolest dog in the dog park. Marmaduke pretends to be an alpha male and wins over Jezebel, the prettiest collie in town. . . but at what cost?

Watching Marmaduke really was not the highlight of my day, though to be honest I did not expect Marmaduke to appeal to my tastes. This is definitely one for the seven & under crowd. For anybody over the age of seven Marmaduke might seem to be a little clichéd though it does have a nice message of friendship and the importance of family. So watching Marmaduke is not a complete chore.
