Five disparate high school students – Olivia, Mo, Charlie, Stella, and Wen who meet in detention. They realize they are destined to rock, and ultimately form a band that becomes a champion for students sidelined by the high school elite
There may indeed be some insidious plot for total global domination through a psychological war being waged by the Disney Channel against the parents of the world, but at least for the next few minutes I think we can forget that this war even exists. Now Lemonade Mouth could not be a more clichéd high school movie even if it tried, but then again in most cases that is all you can really expect from a Disney Channel Movie. However, the positive message that the movie spouts about being strong and proud of who you are ensures that Lemonade Mouth does not completely suck. The only main gripe that I have with the movie is that some of the actors seemed to give performances that seemed to be to over the top and where the kind of thing that possibly would be more at home in a WWE wrestling ring.
