Two inexplicably coherent zombies awake amidst a zombie attack, and decide to take a road trip to find the one’s lost love, unaware they are being chased by the agents of a ruthless company with its own agenda.
Some of the more interesting ‘road trip’ movies are not just simply about whether or not the hero will get somewhere on time and save the day. Do not get me wrong those movies are exciting, but the ‘road trip’ movies that I really enjoy are where the Hero comes to some kind of deep personal realisation, such as the importance of telling somebody that you love them. When you first start watching you might think that you are in for your stereotypical zombie splatter fest. Well you’re not, the Pierce brothers really delivered something hilariously entertaining. If you have not watched a zombie movie for the past few years you would not have realised that there has been a slight change in how zombies are portrayed in movies. Zombies do not have to be mindless beasts that our hell bent on feasting on your brains. I was blown away, by Michael McKiddy and Ross Kidder’s performances. These two, guys where a brilliant comedy team and I hope to see them in more movies. Hopefully together.
