Directed by Adamo Paolo Cultraro
Starring Steve Austin & Michael Jai White
Rated MA
Score 2/6
A training exercise for the LAPD SWAT Team goes terribly wrong when they find themselves pitted against two rival gangs while trapped in an abandoned Hangar, armed with nothing but blanks.
I really must be a sucker for punishment at times when it comes to movies starring Steve Austin, because expecting an award winning acting performance or even a worthwhile performance from him is about as likely as expecting a speedy resolution to the Greek Debt Crisis. While watching Tactical Force It becomes pretty clear quickly that director Adamo Paolo Cultraro has delivered a less intelligent version of Benny Boom’s S.W.A.T: Firefight.
Considering that Tactical Force is all about the action, it is sad to see that the action sequences lacked any sense of creative flair. Big guys like Steve Austin have a reputation of being able to put boots to asses but at the moment I doubt that Austin will be remembered for any of his movies.
