The Canberra Liberals recently questioned the state of ACT roads as a matter of public importance. ACT Opposition Leader Zed Seselja pointed out the Liberals’ commitment to give Canberrans the best local government in the country means focussing on the local issues that matter to residents, such as roads.
“You only need to look at ACT Labor’s iconic failure, the seven years late and $150 million over budget GDE, to see how this government prioritises roads.” Mr. Seselja commented. Mr. Seselja concluded that, “This government would rather spend taxpayer money on artwork on the side of unfinished roads than actually make necessary investments in the roads themselves.”
