Wyatt Earp sits down with a reporter in his home. The reporter and Earp talks in an interview of how he became a famous lawman. Earp tells the story of how the legend became a fearless US Marshal. A 27-year-old Wyatt Earp finds out that his first favourite girl, Dora Hand, was murdered by a man. He goes out of town to track down the man and teams up with his friend Doc Holliday, Bat Masterson, Charlie Bassett, and Bill Tilghman.

I always love it when I come across a newly released Western, even though it has probably been more than thirty years since the last western that was released that achieved anything-resembling mainstream success. Wyatt Earp’s Revenge is not one of those movies, If Val Kilmer had not been cast in this movie, and this would have been a complete waste of time and money.
When it gets down to it this not a very slick movie, the plot could not have been more clichéd it if tried and the action sequences seemed to be at best uninspired.
The only possible saving graces of this movie are that the tale is being retold to a news reporter by a fifty-six year old Wyatt Earp (play by Val Kilmer who played Doc Holiday in the 1993 film Tombstone) and the performance of Wilson Bethel as Doc Holiday.
