With the help of three fans, The Muppets must reunite to save their old theatre from a greedy oil tycoon.
There is something special about The Muppet show and all of their feature films. Personally, I feel that the Muppets have formed the basis of what it is to have a good variety show, even if at times that jokes seem a little stale and the feats of daring did not always go according to plan.
The movie serves up large portions of that sugary sweet feeling of bliss that I have talked about in the past. What is great is that this is the kind of movie, which you can watch with your kids.
As you probably know, The Muppets won an Academy Award for best original song in Man or Muppet. What I really liked about the musical numbers in the movie was that like most musicals the characters did not seem to ignore that there had just been a musical number.
