The last months of Jesse James life leading up from his initial meeting with Robert Ford, who had idolized Jesse James since childhood. Gradually the realationship between Jesse James and the Ford brothers deteriorated and lead up to the assasination of Jesse James on April 3, 1892 by Robert Ford and the eventual public reaction to Robert Ford’s actions.

This is a truly epic movie set against a vast open landscape, that you would expect from a movie such as this. Though Brad Pitt gives a valuable performance however, Casey Affleck is brilliant in his portayal of the seemingly opportunistic Robert Ford. After seeing this film I believe that Robert Ford could be compared to reality television stars and people who want to be famous at any cost.
