A small-town girl ventures to Los Angeles and finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by a former dancer.

Burlesque is the best ‘dance’ movie that I have seen in recent years. Admittedly, on the surface Burlesque does seem to flow the same clichéd plot lines that you would find any of the dozen or so ‘dance’ movies that have been released in recent years
Now what really causes Burlesque to stand out from any of these movies is its image. The music and the fashion are so distinctive that watching this movie will not seem like a chore for any boyfriends who have been forced to watch this movie. As always, Stanley Tucci was at his best.
My only problem was that considering Christina Aguilera who is primarily known for her music career might not have been used to her full potential. .
