Greta

Directed by Nancy Bradawil
Staring Hilary Duff
Rating M
Score 4/6

A young suicidal and rebellious teen is sent to her Grandparents for the summer where life takes an unexpected turn.

There is something to be said about movies featuring rebellious teenagers, and I guess that is ‘Hey, haven’t we seen that in some other move?’ and the answer would be of course you have, because the “rebellious teen” character is such a cliché that they will probably continued to be used in movies for as long as there is teenagers. However, despite the fact the best way to describe Greta’s plot as being a little too formulaic there was some brilliant performances from all of the actors involved. Hillary Duff gave a brilliant performance; she has shed her “Lizzie McGuire” image and shown that her acting skills have come a long way since her performance in Material Girls. .
