A hitman known as Agent 47, who works for a group known as “The Agency” is embroiled in a political conspiracy. Resulting him in being persued across eastern Europe by Interpol and the Russian military.

Movies that are adaptations run the risk of being considered as an embarrassment to its original source material, Hitman is one of those movies that should be considered such an embarrassment. It was blatantly clear that Hitman needed to take a leaf out of the Bourne franchise and more effort should have been given to making the action sequences intelligent and fast flowing.
