The story follows the adventures of Brit Reid. A wealthy publisher of The Daily Sentinel by day, Reid roams as a masked crime fighter by night, dedicated to protecting the lives and rights of the city’s citizens. Reid is accompanied by Kato, a chauffeur/bodyguard/personal assistant during business hours who transforms into a masked sidekick with a knack for martial arts when the sun goes down.

Referring to Seth Rogen’s reinterpretation of The Green Hornet as a colossal waste of time and money would be one of the few compliments that I could actually pay this movie. The other being to congratulate Seth Rogen for dropping all that weight to get in shape for the movie.
Sadly, Rogan was the wrong choice of actor to portray The Green Hornet. I will admit it that I have very little knowledge about this character but what I do know is that The Green Hornet is suppose to be smooth. Rogen’s portrayal of The Green Hornet was far from smooth. He was more of a buffoon then a playboy. Jay Chou was the only male lead who gave anything resembling a decent lead performance.
Now why was a 3D version of this movie even made? Filmmakers need to get their heads out of their arses and realises that the quality of 3D ‘comic book’ movies are destroying the market for other 3D movies and possibly even 3D televisions. They need to realise this before the 3D movie are sent back to the carnival.
