The Mancheta sisters heiresses to a cosmetic fortune go from A list to the poor house when a scandal breaks about there father’s company.
Material girls is nothing new. The plot has been recycled in many different incarnations. Director Martha Coolidge has done nothing to make Material Girls spectacular.
It seems that the dollar signs have blinded the powers that be for Material girls to the simple unavoidable fact that the Duff sisters Hillary and Haylie’s have no acting ability. It would seem that the Duff’s lack of ability was contagious. After watching this cinematic travesty I’m curious is it at all possible for Hillary Duff not to sing on the sound track of a movie that she is in?
