Based on the popular video game franchise, female fighter Chun Li embarks on a quest for justice.

For those of you who might be wondering this movie is not a sequel to any of the other street fighter movies, which is a good thing. Because it is immune to the curse of the sequels especially considering how bad the 1994 release Street Fighter the Movie is. Despite being immune to the curse The Legend of Chun Li really is not the best or for that matter the worst of movies. It has some creative action sequences although the plot in some regards seems to be very similar to Batman: The Dark Knight, though don’t cause this to not to watch this movie.
The only thing that could be considered as a drawback for this film especially for those of you who are hardcore fans of the original computer would be that the actress cast to play the role of Chun Li is not Asian.
