In 1971, Clifford Irving achieved the very heights of American journalism, nabbing a series of unprecedented interviews with the most famous man in the world – ultra-reclusive, immensely powerful, superstar billionaire Howard Hughes.
This is an fascinating story based one vents alot of people would probably want to forget. This movie proves to be a small window in a particular time in history that lead to the world changing, possibly for the better. ( I’m only saying this because the events portrayed in this movie occured 11 years before I was born)
Gere gave a brilliant performance of a man who didn’t drown in what would seem to be an overwhelming situation.
