Wolverine seeks revenge against Victor Creed for the death of his girlfriend, and ultimately ends up going through the mutant Weapon X program to provide him with the tools to get his revenge. However, nothing is what it seems.

Though I have to admit that I find the character of Wolverine to be one of the more fascinating and tragic characters in the Marvel universe, I was dissapointed by this offering when I finally got round to watching this at my local cinema. I found the whole concept of revenge and how it seemed to be the driving force in Wolverine’s life was very compelling and made for an exciting story. However, despite all of this there was some really interesting casting choices such as Danny Huston and Patrick Stewart. Though Stewart’s performance was only a cameo it looked as if Stewarts wax figure from Maddame Tussauds could have been standing in for him.
