The Royal Australian Mint and the Canberra Institute of Technology have joined forces to put on a temporary exhibition highlighting the work of CIT design students.
“This partnership allows the Mint to develop and access talent from our very own backyard, and encourages CIT students to apply what they have learnt in the classroom in a real world setting,” said Royal Australian Mint Chief Executive Officer Mr Ross MacDiarmid.
The exhibition at the mint will run until Sunday 26 August 2012 and the public has the opportunity to vote on their favourite design. Voting for the best design closes on Wednesday 18 July and awards will be presented to the best designs on the evening of Tuesday 24 July 2012.
