When her sister disappears, Jill is convinced the serial killer who kidnapped her two years ago has returned, and she sets out to once again face her abductor.
I’ll be honest Amanda Seyfried is the reason why I decided to check Gone when it arrived at my local DVD store as I was interested to see what she would do with her role. Granted she has had roles in thrillers before, but she is a proven commodity as a romantic lead.
Gone actually had a rather promising beginning because of the dark and eerie feeling that clasp its hands on. However, despite all of the promise Gone had as a thriller it seemed to fall over itself as it lost the race against time feel that it desperately needed. Gone possibly could have been rescued if it was about fifteen minutes shorter.
