A factory worker, Douglas Quaid, begins to suspect that he is a spy after visiting Rekall – a company that provides its clients with implanted fake memories of a life they would like to have led – goes wrong and he finds himself on the run.
For those of you expecting director Len Wiseman to faithfully to stick to the plot of the 1990 original directed by Paul Verhoeven may find themselves to be disappointed, as director Len Wiseman’s film seemed to come off as more of an homage rather than a remake. Comparing Verhoven’s ’90 original with the recent release it becomes clear quickly that Wiseman’s film is on a much grander scale, but throwing more money at a movie does not always make it better. It should be noted that Jhon Cho gave the only memorable performance.
