A former getaway driver abandons his Witness Protection Program identity in order to help his girlfriend get a job interview in Los Angeles. His former crew, his ex-girlfriend and the inept United States Marshal assigned to him head off in pursuit.

Hit & Run is movie worth remembering, if simply for the fact that at the time this movie was made the lead actor and actress who are actually engaged gave brilliant performances. I also enjoyed Tom Arnold’s performance he is so brilliant incompetent characters. Chase movies do run the risk of being very bland, but Dax Shepard who also wrote the movie created an interesting hook, by giving his character’s girlfriend a doctorate in nonviolent conflict resolution. This made for some interesting arguments.
I loved the car chases in this movie. It seemed that instead of being treated as a straight out race, there seemed that there was a dance with the cars involved in the chase scene.
