A look at the early career of Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange.
Okay, I deliberately missed watching this one when it was first run on Australian television. Part of me was expecting that The Julian Assange Story would have been done by the people who are responsible for the Underbelly franchise, I mean that is the rule for these kind of stories in Australia right? But I suppose considering that there was no nudity or violence in the story they probably where not that interested in producing the movie.
No matter if admire or condemn Assange for what he has done the events depicted in this story where an important piece of history, and at the very least we should aware of what happened. I thought that the movie skirted around his philosophy about computer hacking and that the filmmakers should have delved deeper into Assange’s motivations.
