Truman, a Chicago cop, sets out to find the killer of his brother. Meanwhile, another of his brothers, Briar (a hillbilly) decides to find the killer himself.
Next of Kin really is not the most impressive of movies. It has a very slow place for an action-thriller and some twenty-four years later some of the action came across as being a little hokey.
I was impressed by Liam Neeson’s performance. Neeson’s character was also involved in could be considered an iconic chase between featuring a train and a car full of mobsters.
The finale of was another example of the classic work of the ‘Stroomtrooper gunnery school’. The finale almost seemed as if it was an afterthought.
