You would be forgiven if you had no clue that the 2008 release of Death Race had been turned into a trilogy, but then again any movie has the potential to be turned into a trilogy if you look hard enough.
Inferno comes across as being significantly more violent then than the other two movies in the franchise. There is nothing really, that special about the acting, though all the actors who portrayed main actors in the second movie reprised their roles in Inferno. Being the second prequel in the franchise it seems the filmmakers have tied everything up with a nice bow, leaving themselves with enough wiggle room for the possibility of a third prequel/sequel.
