Roland Sallinger is an LA cop who after nearly being killed by his greedy partner, and eventually being forced to retire for medical reasons, flees to San Antonio, Texas, after being asked to work as a bodyguard for the daughter of a wealthy businessman.

Whenever you hire a Steven Segal movie, you never get anything that amazing. I suppose that if you look hard enough the majority of Segal’s movies are almost identical.
The Keeper seems to follow in Segal’s tradition of plot mediocrity. Though what I have noticed with the past few Steven Segal and a few of the other ‘80’s action superstars’ that a lot more thought seems to have been put into the cinematography giving their movies a slicker look. Could this be because most of these guys are now over 50?
