I finally did it and use one of those movie kiosks that I have seen about town. I was not impressed with the kiosk that I used. I can understand that these kiosks have significantly lower costs then your friendly neighborhood DVD store. But that is possibly the only comment that I have to say about these machines, considering that they are possibly going to screw a generation of teenagers out of possible jobs and totally remove the human touch from the movie hiring experience.
I also found that the machine was slow, its onscreen keyboard was more infuriating to use then a smartphone’s keyboard.
On a personal note Hoyts Kiosk, guys you really need to think about working on your machines ability to lower its screen for people in wheelchairs. Just a suggestion, but when the information is lowered on the screen, you might want to stop the size of the information from shrinking.
