When an unseen enemy threatens mankind by taking over their bodies and erasing their memories, Melanie will risk everything to protect the people she cares most about, proving that love can conquer all in a dangerous new world.

Once more into the breach of a movie that was adapted from a Stephanie Meyer book. Oh god I did not think that I was going to back to that well so soon after the Breaking Dawn movies and for those of you keeping score at home the book was released around the same time of the last of the twilight books and no I have not read it.
I was not overly impressed by this one, in places the dialogue seemed to be a little forced and it came across as being a little too melodramatic at times, for my taste. Though that being said The Host is still worth checking out, but maybe you should wait till this is a weekly at your friendly neighborhood DVD store. I would suggest that maybe, instead of being released as a movie The Host should have been adapted into a television series.
