When a veteran 911 operator takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl who has just been abducted, she realizes that she must confront a killer from her past in order to save the girl’s life.
It would seem that just maybe that over the past few years that WWE Studios are learning how to make a halfway decent movies by placing their wrestlers in minor playing opposite veteran actors. Halle Berry’s performance in The Call has gone a long way to wiping Halle Berry’s performance in the 2012 movie Dark Tide from my memory.
While watching this one I was reminded of the 2004 movie Cellular
Michael Elkund gave a brilliant performance as the killer he had this innocent baby face quality. There were some scenes that came across as being very violent and slightly disturbing though not as gruesome as some serial killer movies can be.
