Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.
Okay, another comic book has rolled down the factory line from Hollywood and it is good to see that the filmmakers did not go ahead try and violate some of the most basic laws of the sequel (all of the principal actors from the 2011 movie have returned for this one) and be sure to keep your eyes out for the prerequisite cameo appearance by Stan Lee.
Now, these movies are probably never going to be considered to be cinematic masterpieces (Hell they had to release a Director’s Cut of the 2003 Daredevil for the story to make sense) and that’s ok these movies are supposed to be Big Loud Action Movies or Popcorn movies and that is exactly what Thor: The Dark World is.
On a personal note if these comic book movies are going to keep on being presented in a 3D format, just once I would like to see a future comic book movie presented in a HFR 3D format. Is that too much to ask?
