The Smurfs team up with their human friends to rescue Smurfette, who has been kidnapped by Gargamel since she knows a secret spell that can turn the evil sorcerer’s newest creation – creatures called the Naughties – into real Smurfs.
For those of us without small children to wrangle into the local cinema who still desre to get in touch with that small children who still resides in all of us there will always be the friendly DVD store if you want to avoid the awkward feeling you get from the stares of the parents at the cinema.
For the record Smurfs 2 has a rather sweet message being, that it doesn’t matter where you come from, what matters is who you choose to be. That’s something that anybody can take to heart.
Personally I loved Hank Azaria’s performance as Gargamel and the relationship he has with Azarel which seemed to have an old married couple quality to it.
