An old firm leader returns to Green Street for Revanche after receiving a call that his little brother was killed, but is he able to cope with a new type of hooliganism and can he find his killer?
There are sequels to movies and then there are ‘sequels’ to movies. As far as I can tell Green Street 3 and for that matter 2 qualify as being referred to as ‘sequels’. What I mean by that they are the type of movies that at best have a tenuous link at best to the primary movie in the franchise. This is what happens when there is a desire for a film franchise and continuity at a production company level.
Now despite having Scott Adkins cast in a lead role, it should be noted that Adkins has been involved with some of the more questionable action movies that I have watched in recent years, Green Street 3 is clearly better than the second movie in the franchise and probably would have been met with a better reception had it been made as movie in its own right.
