Peter Parker runs the gauntlet as the mysterious company Oscorp sends up a slew of super-villains against him, impacting on his life.
Ok for the record I ended up putting off going to see this one for as long possible, yet another comic book movie to see, everybody knows that these are seldom anything special. The bold step was taken to keep Marc Webb in the director’s chair, it is always a good thing to see director continuity in a franchise because each film has a similar sense of style. Webb seemed to have stepped things up slightly in this one with the use of brief spidey sense like slow motion moments in the fight sequences. I also kind of enjoyed the soundtrack.
Andrew Garfield gave a great performance and considering that I am not overly familiar with Spider-Man comic I am actually looking forward to the direction the filmmakers are going to take with the third movie.
I am vaguely familiar with Dane DeHaan’s work but I probably would not regard him as a familiar face. DeHaan gave an ok performance as Harry Osborn but I found my slightly put off by the overall look of his character which came across as being a cross between Dennis the Menace an Emo Kid
