Victorian Minister for Environment, Lisa Neville recently launched Parks Victoria’s new Parks Discovery App.
Ms Neville explained that Parks Discovery is packed with interesting facts and stories along with a directory of Victoria’s most popular parks. “Victoria has so many great parks and waterways ready to discover. This new app is designed to encourage everyone to get out and see Victoria’s parks.” Ms Neville commented “It can be challenging to know where to start if you’re not a regular visitor. Parks Discovery will help Victorians and tourists get the most out of their trip to our national parks.”
Ms Neville explained that the directory is designed to encourage people who are less familiar with parks to get out and get exploring by listing the basic information about where to go and what to do. It also allows users to create a list of visited parks and to add their own notes.

The guide and magazine, developed by Parks Victoria, is available for free download from the App Store on iTunes or the Google Play store.
