ABC Radio has launched the latest version of the ABC Radio website and ABC Radio app, giving audiences unprecedented listening access to ABC Radio stations and programs on the platform of their choice. Michael Mason, Director ABC Radio, said the latest evolution of the website and app delivers against one of the ABC Radio’s key objectives, to provide content to audiences on their terms.
“Over the past few years we have seen audiences move from wholly analogue listening, to a mix of terrestrial and online. As this shift continues we feel we are now well placed to meet the challenge of audience migration,” Mason commented “Through the new ABC Radio website and the ABC Radio app, we continue to evolve easier ways to listen, while giving audiences a more comprehensive and overall more enjoyable listening experience.”
Mason explained that the latest version of the ABC Radio website and the ABC Radio app allows listeners to hear ABC Radio anywhere, on smart phones, tablets and computers; available stations include ABC Local Radio metro stations, RN, Classic FM, Classic 2, NewsRadio, triple j, Double J, triple j Unearthed, ABC Jazz, ABC Country, ABC Grandstand & ABC Extra. Mason added that the app is presently optimised for smart phones, the website is scalable on any device for any size screen: computers, tablets and smart phones.
