As Shredder joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman and henchmen Bebop and Rocksteady to take over the world, the Turtles must confront an even greater nemesis: the notorious Krang.
Ok, Ok I might of delayed writing this review a little. The next instalment of the Michael Bay produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise is upon us and I believe that it is a fair assumption in saying that this is the movie that the majority of fans wanted as the first movie of Bay’s franchise because it hint on all of the character beats even the most casual of fan was expecting with the inclusion of Casey Jones, Bebop, Rocksteady, Krang and of course the Technodrome. Though truth be told the objectification of Megan Fox with her hanging out a truck window might have softened the blow of the first movie just a little bit, for some of the fans.
Action wise Out of the Shadows has pretty much an identical pace to the previous TMNT movie, so it is something that younger fans can go and see without their overprotective parents worrying to much. It was good to see that Out of the Shadows pretty much had the same writing team as the previous movie but considering that within the franchise it seems that a game of musical chairs is being played with the director’s chair it would good see somebody in the director’s chair that understands how to bring a decent martial arts sequence to the screen.
