Travis and Gabby first meet as neighbors in a small coastal town and wind up in a relationship that is tested by life’s most defining events.
I’ll admit it, even though I know I might be mocked for it I have watched more than my fair share of movies that have been adapted from a Nicholas Sparks novel and yes shock horror I might have even read one of Sparks’ novels.
One maybe two of Sparks’ novels have been adapted into a movie of any particular note, The Choice isn’t one of them. Pretty much everything that you would expect from one of these movies adapted from a Sparks movieis brought to the table and packaged up with a nice palatable romantic bow combined with the kind of shots of North Carolina that would keep their tourism board happy. I suppose one of the good points was the casting of Australian actress Teresa Palmer, who had a pretty good on-screen chemistry with Benjamin Walker.
