The fun-filled Little Big Shots film festival is headed for the Sydney Opera House Studio 5-7 August, featuring the best in local and international shorts, animations and documentaries for – and even by – children.
“Little Big Shots is quite simply the best film festival for kids I’ve seen. Every year it gives kids the opportunity to be inspired by the best film, documentary and animation experts from home and abroad. Plus, the child-produced videos perfectly sum up what we at the Opera House know to be true – kids can do anything we can do, and better!” Head of Children, Families & Creative Learning Bridgette Van Leuven commented.
Ms Van Leuven explained that the festival is now in its 12th year and Little Big Shots is Australia’s only major stand-alone kids’ film festival, touring all major cities in the country from June every year. With its focus on diverse short films collected from all over the world, as well as a commitment to showing the best child-made films from Australia, Little Big Shots is one of the year’s most exciting and heart-warming experiences for kids.
