A koala named Buster Moon has one final chance to restore his theater to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition.
Buster Moon manages a theatre. His business has fallen on hard times as none of his shows have been a success. Everyone is chasing him for unpaid debts. He comes up with the plan to have a singing competition and offer $1,000 prize money; all he can scrape together. But with a typing error, this turns into $100,000. There is no shortage of entrants and so the auditioning begins. The finalists include a shy elephant, a busking mouse, a gorilla who works as a lookout for his father’s gang, a porcupine, an overwhelmed mother pig, and Gunther. This is a really sweet movie with a lot of laughs and the music is great. Enjoyed by the kids and adults. I really enjoyed this animated movie a lot. If you have to take the littlies to a movie these holidays consider this one. You won’t be disappointed.
