Alright for the record no I did not do any homework and re-watch The Age of Extinction, mainly because the ending was kind of painful. In news related to the Transformers franchise it should be noted that there is Bumblebee spin-off movie and a 6th movie scheduled for release in 2018 and 2019.
I will admit that I really wasn’t in a huge hurry to watch The Last Knight, in fact I was considering waiting about a week before finally watching this. I suppose in a way Bay might have redeemed the franchise just a little bit in my eyes with the further elaboration of the involvement by Transformers in global history. It was good to see that some of the characters from past Transformers movies return. Now, there might be any award-winning performances to look forward to (but then again, I’ve never expected that from any of the movies in the franchise, even if the movies have been able to manipulate my emotions) I found myself enjoying scenes involving Sir Anthony Hopkins and the Transformer Cogman, particularly the scene explaining the Order of the Witwiccans, the use of the music in that scene was hilariously brilliant.
