Three career criminals find themselves trapped in a warehouse with the law closing in and an even worse threat waiting inside – a nigh unstoppable killer dog.
If you did not want to watch this one it would be perfectly understandable because the dog fighting elements to this movie is a little confronting, though not all of the violence against animals was shown on screen. It has been a while since I have last watched a movie where the antagonist was a killer animal (to be honest I kind of lost interest in the killer animal movies in the late 90’s early 00’s) I thought that it was interesting touch by the filmmakers to have point of view shots from the dog’s perspective. It’s something that I am certain I haven’t seen before.
As you would expect John Malkovich gave an impressive performance and Adrian Brody was good opposite him.
This could have been a good movie if it did not have such a stop-start flow because all of the main characters where given a voiced over flashback sequence about whether or not they like cats or dogs and though this was good for character development it sapped the movie of the tension that it had developed.
