The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell

Starring Mick Ignis, Adam Mayfield, Christine H. McConnell, Michael Oosterom & Colleen Smith
Rated M
Score 5.5/6

Wickedly talented baker and artist Christine McConnell fills her home with haunting confections, creepy crafts — and wildly inappropriate creatures.

Yes, I am a fan of cooking shows and I find it very easy to spend an entire afternoon watching my favourite cooking shows. The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell is a little different to your average cooking show. Come to think of it its more than a little different, there is just something wildly hilarious about puppets and threats of violence and murder. With episodes usually around 25 minutes long, you’ll find yourself watching the entire season in just one afternoon on Netflix.
Not being the biggest fan of Halloween and not known for my baking I really don’t see myself trying anything from the show. McConnell seemed to have a Nigella Lawson quality to her and I was completely entertained by her puppet co-stars. Rose is an absolute darling.
