After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe.
Sorry for taking three weeks to get around to going to see this one, and yes for the record a small part of my, was slightly depressed that there was no song and dance number in this one. Marvel, is it too much to ask for one elaborate Bob Fossi inspired dance number in one of these?
Eleven years and twenty-two movies its only to be expected that Avengers: Endgame managed to achieve the level of success that it has achieved at the box office. I’ll admit I’m a little cynical when it comes to Marvel Movies because there is an overwhelming feeling of film making by numbers when it comes to this franchise and even with Endgame there was moments that you would just expect to see. However, there is more then enough to set Endgame apart form the average Marvel movie. The time travel elements of Endgame. I loved them. Paul Rudd really seemed to be hitting his grove with his portrayal of Ant-Man, I still find myself cringing at times with some of Ant-man’s humorous moments, but I still find myself starting to appreciate the character. Considering that I watched Endgame on Mother’s Day (after having Lunch with Mum, and giving her, her present) I felt that Thor’s story line seemed to be very appropriate for the day.
