Batman, Batgirl and Robin forge an alliance with The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to fight against the Turtles’ sworn enemy, The Shredder, who has teamed up with Ra’s Al Ghul and The League of Assassins.
Despite any problems that I have with trying to figure out if there is any sort of timeline with DC animated movies, though I think I might go out on a limb and say that if there is any kind of timeline with these animated movies, that this probably doesn’t appear in the main timeline. I find them to be fun to watch.
I will admit that I didn’t enjoy Tara Strong’s portrayal of Harley Quinn, although I definitive portrayal, personally I prefer Melissa Rauch’s portrayal of Quinn in Batman and Harley Quinn over Strong’s performance. There where several times throughout the movie where I thought that Strong as Quinn was awkward to listen to.
What I really liked about the movie was the dynamic between the Turtles and the Bat family, particularly Michelangelo, I also found this to have one of the more enjoyable portrayals of Damian Wayne. The villains of the movie were also enjoyable, I haven’t seen much of Ra’s Al Ghul in any of the animated movies, so that was good and the way that the movie left things with Shredder has left me hoping that there is a sequel.
