A group of online chat room friends find themselves haunted by a mysterious, supernatural force using the account of their dead friend
Watching unfriended, normally I would have given this one a wide berth. The only reason why I watched this one was because I found myself with to much time on my hands and going to someone for a suggestion for movie to watch. I should have known better. But as we all know there are times that I’m an idiot. This was one of those times.
Ok unfriended certainly has something to say about the power of cyber bullying because I have to admit the one thought I had throughout the movie was ‘log off go watch a movie’.
I wasn’t familiar with the work of anybody cast in this movie and judging by the acting in unfriended I don’t see myself in a hurry to follow anybody who was cast to any of their future projects or for that matter past projects any time soon.
Is Unfriended a teen slasher flick? Honestly, it might be a stretch to regarded it as one and there certainly no effort by the filmmakers to make the movie’s villain memorable and the littlest effort was made to make the villain seem supernatural. In fact I would say that this movie was largely forgettable.
