The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe. In this new adventure, they tackle their biggest, most global threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organisation.
I really wasn’t sure when I was finally going to get around to watching MIB International, and with it out digitally and about to come out on Blu-Ray and DVD I suppose now is a good as any. I would have liked to have seen Barry Sonnenfeld, who directed the previous 3 MIB films return as director. However, if there’s to be (and it really wouldn’t surprise me) another MIB trilogy of course now would be the time to change directors.
In the beginning I did not like either Agent M or Agent H, the characters just seemed to rub the wrong way. However, Thompson and Hemsworth managed to win me over by the end of the movie, even if a lot of the comedy and their banter seemed to fall flat most of the times. I suppose it is probably a deleted scene but where was the training scene for Agent M? (Judging by blink and you’ll miss it status report it would have been cool to see).
It was good to see Emma Thompson back as Agent O, Liam Neeson was a cool casting choice and Laurent and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois (better known to some as Les Twins) as the twin aliens where very cool.
It was good to see the MIB film universe expanded and the plot taken out of the confines of America.
