Okay this is another enter on the long list of ‘why the heck did I just watch this?’. For those of you playing along at home, this marks the second sequel of the 1999 movie Deep Blue Sea directed by Renny Harlin. Now it has been more than a few years since I last watch the ’99 release but what little I do remember of it, the two sequels where, how shall I put this? Not needed. Though I suppose one of the few good things about this movie is that a tangible link was made to the Deep Blue Sea 2. There were also a couple funny deaths. I suppose I should congratulate the filmmakers for making a good point about global warming. However, it should be noted that this is also one of those movies where you might find yourself cheering for the shark by the third act.
I really wasn’t that familiar with anybody cast in this movie and the performances in Deep Blue Sea 3 didn’t cause me to want go out and get movies that they were involved in.
