A cold and mysterious character working at a cash truck company responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles each week.
English-language remake of the 2004 French thriller Cash Truck (Le convoyeur) directed by Nicolas Boukhrief and starred Jean Dujardin. It is Ritchie’s third remake following Swept Away and Aladdin.
As action movies directed by Guy Ritchie go, Wrath of Man certainly is a little different, most notably that it is the second movie that he has directed that is set and the action seemed to have a slow almost methodical pace to it, also the structure of the overall movie was a little unexpected with it being split up into four different parts each with their own title graphics. The heist at the end of the movie certainly was one of the more interesting heists that I have seen for a while. Even though Wrath of Man is a very watchable heist movie, this isn’t Ritchie’s best work.
H was exactly the kind of role that you would expect for Jason Statham and certainly wiped the bad taste Hobbes and Shaw left in my mouth. It was good to see a few familiar faces pop up such as Josh Hartnett, Jeffrey Donovan, Andy Garcia & Holt McCallany. I loved Scott Eastwood’s performance he is proving to be a versatile actor.
