Multi-award-winning international hit crime series Luther created by Neil Cross for the BBC will continue in a feature film at Netflix under its pact with Chernin Entertainment. Grammy, Tony, Emmy Winner and Two-time Academy Award Nominee Cynthia Erivo (Harriet) and Emmy Award Nominee Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings trilogy, War for the Planet of the Apes) to star alongside Golden Globe Nominee Idris Elba in titular role. Emmy Award Nominee Jamie Payne has already been announced as the director with a script to be written by series creator Neil Cross. The announcement of Luther follows Chernin Entertainment’s Fear Street trilogy which debuted on Netflix this summer. Next up from Chernin and Netflix is Slumberland starring Jason Momoa.
