Something A Little Different

Here’s to Temperance.

Here’s to Temperance, I know it is an odd sentence to start with, especially considering this a wine review. But I am reliably infromed that my Grandfather on occassion would toast to temperancee. With the exception of Champagne I usually drink red wine, probably because when I first started to drink wine it was what my Dad drank. So, it is certainly was something a little different to try Rosé for the first time. Specifically a 2021 Alkomi Frankland River Rosé which paired very nicely with a French Style Fish Stew. Compared to most of the other wines that I drink which have very bold and upfront fragrances. This Rosé had a upfront musky fruity flavour and a slightly acidic aftertaste. It had a very delicate fragrance that was almost unasuming. The Fragrance invited me to drink anothr glass so that I could become better acquainted with the wine. I am definetly goingo to enjoy the remaining bottles I have.
